SHC Reviews the Omen Series

Gregory Peck? Satan? Sam Neill? Huzzah!

  1. I totally agree with you on both the remake and part 4. The only thing I kinda liked in part 4 is that the little girl was pregnant with her own twin, who would be the anti-christ, how twisted is that? Other than that, both the remake and part 4 were let downs. The kid that played Damien in the the original, Harvey Stephens = Creepy-ville!
The kid who played Damien in the remake, Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick = not creepy at all.
It was so nice of those who did the remake to throw Harvey Stephens a bone and give him a cameo as...wait for it....wait for it....tabloid reported #3. Wow. Not even a character with a name, not even tabloid reporter #1. To me, that's just wrong. Did they do the same for Jonathan Scott-Taylor who played Damien in The Omen 2? Of course not! Schmucks.
I'd like to watch the two documentaries about the original film, The Omen: Legacy and The Curse of "The Omen". Who cares about the doc made about the cruddy remake, The Omen: Prophecy Fulfilled.
    Great review, my friend.

  2. I know, it was practically an insult that they gave him such a small cameo. And even worse, they didn't even show a PICTURE of Sam Neill in the Omen 4! Bullshit!

And I've seen "Curse of the Omen" (VERY good documentary), but have yet to see "The Omen: Legacy". I've heard good things about it, though. And from what I hear, "the Omen: Prophecy Fulfilled" is actually better the movieit's about, lol.

  3. I totally agree with you on this franchise. The first three are the only ones worth watching. IV sucks and I actually fell asleep watching the remake. That's what I think of it. Great review. What's up with the Blip instead of the YouTube? They give you shit or something?

  4. No, YouTube didn't give me shit. I just thought I'd use Blip for the site, and YouTube for the....YouTube. lol
